SERVICE FOR SCULPTORS
Exametal’s specialist team for reproducing small and medium sized works of art using the lost wax process is quick and efficient. We have the facilities to copy small and medium-sized pieces in a relatively short space of time. Sculptors, if they so wish, are welcome to carry out the whole reproduction process themselves.
OWN COLLECTIONS
NNNNNNN
Exametal has a very large collection of its own of small and medium-sized French style works of art in bronze dating from the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries. The pieces are totally finished when delivered and have similar patinas to the original. They are mounted on bases of marble or fine woods. Our high quality pieces are admired by professional clients and individuals alike.
MICROFUSION
Our microfusion section is still in operation on a large scale. We have many customers who trust in our professionalism and excellence. Many workshops in the South of Spain who craft pieces out of precious metals are testament to the level of confidence in our work.
LOW FUSION
In response to cast low fusion metals such as zamac, peltre and lead. Its skilled, professional team are responsible for many areas in the process, from the initial study of the project, though the design and creation of the original model or archetype until the piece of work is completely finished.
The method used for low fusion is horizontal centrifuge, using flat moulds of varying thickness, and vertical centrifuge, which allows larger pieces to be cast, and of excellent quality.
The cast pieces are then sent to the revising section where they are retouched by professional artisans who prepare them to be finished by a short electrolytic process.Afterwards other professionals chemically treat the piece and apply the patina in the same way as bronze is treated which gives the piece an artesian finish.
Many clients opt for this method for their trophies, medallions or small sculptures as the price is significantly lower.
Low fusion is perfect for those professionals who deal in gifts, trophies, sculptures, imitation jewellery, religious artefacts, advertising, corporate designs and so on.
