FOUNDATION

Exametal was founded in 1954 by a group of businessmen and professionals, amongst them the French engineer AUFRAI, primarily in answer to a growing demand in Barcelona for lost wax microfusionto meet the needs of jeweller’s, small workshops making pieces from precious metals like gold and silver, religious artefacts, small mechanical pieces and so on.

At the beginning of the 1960’s the opportunity arose to extend our services to a group of sculptors to cast small works of theirs in bronze.

Since then, and while not neglecting our microfusion section, the same group of professionals, now under the management of Exametal, dedicate themselves on a daily basis to this largely creative enterprise, their objective being to provide rapid, professional solutions to the needs of artists, companies, organizations and individuals who have put their trust in us.
